Rusan Front Q-R adapter for AGM Rattler-C V2 / Secutor LRF-C: 44mm
Rusan Front Q-R Adapter for AGM Rattler-C V2 / Secutor LRF-C — 44 mm
The Rusan Front Q-R Adapter (Quick-Release) is a proprietary quick-detach mounting adapter designed specifically for the AGM Rattler-C V2 and AGM Secutor LRF-C thermal clip-on series. It secures the thermal device in front of a daytime scope's objective lens — no tools required, no point-of-impact shift, and installation takes only a few seconds.
How It Works
The adapter is mounted onto the objective bell of the daytime scope and remains on the scope after the thermal clip-on is removed — this is the key design feature. As a result:
- The scope's zero is preserved with every subsequent remount of the thermal device
- No re-zeroing is required
- The clip-on is attached and detached with a single lever movement
Installation is a two-step process:
- Thread the adapter clockwise onto the Rattler-C V2 / Secutor LRF-C body until seated and locked
- Slide the clip-on with the adapter onto the scope's objective, then close the clamp lever
Compatibility
The 44 mm adapter is designed for daytime scopes with an objective housing outer diameter of approximately 44 mm. Note: the adapter size is determined not by the optical glass diameter, but by the full external diameter of the objective housing body — measure with calipers.
Compatible devices:
- AGM Rattler-C V2 19-256
- AGM Rattler-C V2 35-384
- AGM Rattler-C V2 50-640
- AGM Secutor LRF-C 50-640
- AGM Secutor LRF-C 75-640
Important limitation: the adapter is not recommended for firearms with heavy recoil above .308 Win. Also incompatible with scopes where the focus ring is located directly on the objective housing body.
Construction and Material
The adapter is manufactured from high-grade anodized aluminum. The inner surface features a protective coating that provides additional grip on the objective housing and prevents scratching of the scope body. The clamp lever is designed for operation with gloves.
Part No.: 6306R2441 (44 mm)
Selecting the Correct Size
To determine the correct adapter diameter:
- Use calipers to measure the full outer diameter of your scope's objective housing in millimeters
- Round up to the nearest whole number
- Select the corresponding adapter size
Correct fit: the lever closes with light resistance. If significant force is required, the adapter is too small and may damage the objective housing.
