Holosun HS507K-X2-FDE — Multi-Reticle Open Micro Sight for Subcompact Pistols
The Holosun HS507K-X2-FDE is the multi-reticle variant of the K-footprint micro pistol optic line. Where the HS407K-X2 offers a single 6 MOA dot, the HS507K-X2 adds the full Multi-Reticle System (MRS) — 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, or combined Circle-Dot — at the same 28 g (1 oz) weight and identical footprint. The FDE version features a Flat Dark Earth hard-anodized finish alongside the X2 generation's horizontal button layout, side-loading battery tray, and Lock Mode.
Housing and Build
Precision-machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the body measures 40.6 × 24.9 × 24.1 mm (1.6″ × 0.98″ × 0.95″). The low-profile open design fits flush on subcompact slides and clears standard concealed carry holsters without modification. Rated IP67 for full dust resistance and short water submersion. Vibration-rated to 5000 G, handling the repetitive recoil impulse of centerfire pistol calibers. Multi-layer anti-reflective coatings on the lens deliver a clean, high-transmission sight picture.
Multi-Reticle System
All three reticles are generated by a single 650 nm red LED — switching between them requires no re-zeroing:
- 2 MOA dot — for precision aimed fire at distance, minimal dot size preserves target visibility
- 32 MOA circle — for fast close-range acquisition without focusing on a fine point
- Circle-Dot — 2 MOA dot inside a 32 MOA ring for combined speed and precision across all distances
The sight is parallax-free with unlimited eye relief, supporting any shooting grip or position.

Controls: Lock Mode, Shake Awake, Side Battery Tray
Horizontal button layout — the X2's brightness buttons run laterally along the body, reducing accidental activation during holster draws and simplifying one-handed operation with gloves.
Lock Mode disables both buttons simultaneously to prevent inadvertent brightness changes during carry or under gear. Activated by pressing and holding both buttons. Attempted presses while locked cause the dot to flash as visual confirmation.
Shake Awake is user-configurable from 10 minutes to 12 hours of sleep delay. The optic restores the last manually set brightness instantly upon detecting movement. A flashing reticle signals low battery before full depletion.
Side-loading battery tray allows CR1632 replacement without dismounting the sight from the slide — a practical advantage for duty carry and regular maintenance.
Installation and Zeroing
The HS507K-X2 uses Holosun's K footprint — a modified RMSc with a 2-boss front interface. Direct fit (no adapter required) on: SIG Sauer P365X, P365XL, P322, Canik TP9 Elite SC, Taurus GX4 and GX4 XL T.O.R.O., Ruger Max-9. Full 4-boss RMSc slides, Glock MOS, and RMR-cut slides require an adapter plate. Windage and elevation adjust at 1 MOA per click within ±30 MOA. Zeroing at 10–15 m is standard for defensive distances. An included multi-tool handles all mounting screws and turret adjustments.
Field Applications
Concealed Carry (EDC/CCW). At 28 g, the HS507K-X2-FDE adds negligible weight to any carry setup. FDE coloring suits earth-tone holsters and firearms. The Circle-Dot reticle provides the fastest possible draw-to-first-shot time under stress, while the 2 MOA dot remains available for precision follow-up shots.
IPSC / USPSA / Practical Shooting. MRS adapts to stage requirements without re-zeroing: use the 32 MOA circle for speed stages and switch to the 2 MOA dot for precision targets. Switching takes a single button press.
Airsoft. Compatible directly with RMSc-milled replicas, making it a top choice for realistic competition pistol setups.
