Holosun Red Dot Sight HE530G-RD switchable between Circle Dot and Single Dot and a full titanium housing
Holosun HE530G-RD: 30 mm The Titanium Standard for Duty Optics
For the shooter who prioritizes absolute resilience and a crystal-clear sight picture over superfluous features, the decision to buy the Holosun HE530G-RD is a choice for uncompromising strength. This optic is engineered from the ground up as a hard-use, duty-grade sight, foregoing solar panels for the sheer simplicity and bomb-proof durability of its titanium housing and robust electronics. It's built for environments where failure is not an option.
A Foundation of Uncompromising Engineering
A Chassis of Solid Titanium: The HE530G-RD’s body is not just coated or reinforced; it is machined from solid Grade 5 titanium. This isn't just an upgrade; it's a fundamental shift in durability, offering superior resistance to the impacts, shocks, and torsional forces that could compromise or disable an aluminum-housed optic.
Operator-Selectable Reticles (MRS): Holosun's Multi-Reticle System provides tactical flexibility on demand. The operator can instantly toggle between a precise 2 MOA dot for accurate shot placement at distance, a wide 65 MOA circle for dominating close-quarters engagements, or a combined reticle for the ultimate synthesis of speed and precision—all without ever losing zero.
Instant-On Intelligence (Shake Awake™): This is readiness, personified. The HE530G-RD senses motion and springs to life instantly, yet powers down during periods of stillness to conserve energy. This intelligent power management stretches a single battery to a staggering 50,000 hours of potential service life.
Integrated Protective Suite: The optic ships with a complete protective package. Clear, flip-down lens caps shield the multi-coated glass from debris and weather, while a screw-in killflash module eliminates forward-facing lens glare, reducing your signature in tactical environments.
Dialed-In Precision: The windage and elevation turrets are capped for protection and offer crisp, tactile 0.5 MOA adjustments. This allows for a precise, repeatable zeroing process that will hold true under the stress of heavy recoil and hard use.
Mission Profiles & Applications
Duty & Tactical Operations: Law enforcement and security professionals will value its ruggedness and straightforward, battery-powered reliability. There is no reliance on ambient light, and its titanium construction ensures it can withstand the rigors of patrol car life and dynamic entries.
Competitive Shooting (3-Gun/PCC): The large, clear 30mm objective lens and the 65 MOA circle reticle provide a massive field of view, enabling lightning-fast transitions between targets in fast-paced competition.
The Serious Hunter: For the hunter who ventures into unforgiving backcountry, the HE530G-RD's weather resistance and durability provide peace of mind. It’s an optic that will perform flawlessly from the dense, dark forests to the open, sun-drenched plains.
Setup and Field Maintenance Protocol
The optic includes both an absolute and a lower 1/3 co-witness QD mount, allowing you to tailor its height to your rifle and preference. Secure the mount to your Picatinny rail and lock the QD lever. Zeroing is performed with the 0.5 MOA turrets, typically at 25 or 50 meters for an initial zero, then confirmed at 100 meters. Maintenance is minimal: change the CR2032 battery every few years and keep the lenses clean with the provided cloth.
