Holosun RMLT-IR – Infrared Laser Designator with Titanium Housing
The Holosun RMLT-IR is a compact infrared laser sight designed specifically for pistols and carbines when working with night vision devices. This miniature laser designator provides covert aiming in the dark, remaining invisible to the naked eye but perfectly visible through night vision devices.
Premium Grade 5 Titanium Construction
The RMLT-IR housing is made from Grade 5 titanium alloy—the same material used in the aerospace industry. This alloy has tensile strength exceeding aluminum 7075 by more than twice, and demonstrates five times greater fatigue strength. Grade 5 titanium is also resistant to seawater and extreme operating conditions. Thanks to this construction, the device withstands recoil up to 1000G and maintains stable aiming accuracy even during intensive shooting.
850nm Infrared Laser for Covert Operation
The RMLT-IR is equipped with an 850nm wavelength infrared laser that is completely invisible to the naked eye but excellently visible through night vision devices. The device has two power modes: high mode with 0.7mW output power and low mode at 0.1mW. This allows adapting the laser dot brightness depending on lighting conditions and shooting distance. The IIIB laser class provides sufficient visibility for rapid target acquisition in complete darkness without revealing the shooter's position.
Universal Mounting and Holster Compatibility
The laser mounts on a Picatinny rail (MIL-STD-1913) using a universal quick-detach mount and includes adapters for various pistol frame types. Compact dimensions of 50mm × 30mm × 23mm and weight of only 51 grams allow installing the RMLT-IR even on subcompact pistols. Tactile W&E Adjustments for Stable Zero Retention
The precision aiming adjustment system includes windage and elevation adjustments with 4 MOA per click and ±60 MOA correction range. This allows quick and accurate zeroing of the laser at various distances, maintaining settings through thousands of shots. Adjustments are made using a T10 Torx key included in the package.

The RMLT-IR is equipped with ambidextrous activation buttons on both sides of the housing, making it equally convenient for right-handed and left-handed shooters. The buttons provide both instant and constant laser activation modes. The automatic shutoff system turns off the laser after 5 minutes of continuous operation, preventing battery drain. The rubberized button coating provides reliable tactile feedback even with gloves or when wet.
IP68 Protection for Operation in Any Conditions
The device is certified to IP68 standard, which guarantees complete dust-proofing and waterproofing during submersion. The RMLT-IR will continue functioning in rain, snow, mud, and other extreme weather conditions. Operating temperature range from -20°C to +51°C allows using the laser in arctic and desert conditions. CR1/3N Battery Power
The RMLT-IR operates on a single CR1/3N lithium battery included in the package. This compact battery provides long operating time thanks to the device's low power consumption. The CR1/3N battery has 3 volts voltage and capacity of approximately 160-170 mAh. When using the laser in low power mode, operating time can reach several hours of continuous use. CR1/3N batteries feature low self-discharge rate (less than 0.5% per year) and can be stored for up to 10 years, making them ideal for duty weapons.

Parallel zero means the laser runs parallel to the barrel with constant offset, which simplifies shooting at different distances. Convergent zero assumes intersection of the bullet trajectory and laser beam at a specific distance.
Adjustments are made in small iterative steps, alternating windage and elevation settings until precise alignment of the laser dot with the point of impact is achieved. The tactile click system allows accurate counting of clicks even in darkness. After zeroing, it's recommended to verify zero retention with a series of control shots.
Maintenance and Reliability
The RMLT-IR requires minimal maintenance thanks to its sealed construction and protection from dust and moisture. It's recommended to periodically check the laser lens cleanliness and clean it with the included microfiber cloth. The battery should be changed when signs of brightness reduction appear. The titanium housing is resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage, providing long service life even with intensive use. The device does not require re-zeroing when changing the battery.
