The Holosun Ronin AEMS-MAX-GR is an enclosed reflex sight featuring the largest optical window in the Holosun lineup: 40×30 mm (1.57″×1.18″). Compared to the standard AEMS, the lens area is approximately doubled, delivering a substantially wider field of view while maintaining the sealed, compact enclosed form factor. The sight carries a green 540 nm LED, a three-mode MRS reticle system, triple-source power (battery + solar panel + supercapacitor), and the Ronin Dragon engraving that identifies the Ronin Special Edition series.
The AEMS-MAX-GR is built for shooters who prioritize rapid target acquisition, both-eyes-open shooting, and magnifier compatibility on rifles, carbines, and tactical long guns.

Shake Awake and Brightness Control
Shake Awake powers down the LED after 10 minutes of inactivity and reactivates the sight instantly on the first movement of the firearm. The last-set brightness level is stored in memory on wake. Two side-mounted buttons control brightness with a 3-second hold engaging Solar Auto-Brightness mode, where the sight continuously adjusts the LED intensity to match ambient conditions — practical for transitions between indoor and outdoor environments.
Magnifier Compatibility and Mounting
The enclosed housing and Lower 1/3 Co-Witness mount at 41.4 mm bore height align correctly with standard magnifier devices (Holosun HM3X, Vortex Micro 3×, Sig Sauer JULIET3) on AR-platform rifles. The co-witness height allows the AEMS-MAX-GR to be used over folded-down BUIS. The wide AEMS footprint directly accepts other AEMS-footprint optics without adapters.
