Vortex Spitfire AR 1x – Prism Scope (DRT Reticle)
Spitfire 1x DRT Prism Sight - Compact CQB Precision
The Vortex Spitfire AR 1x Prism Scope with DRT reticle delivers true 1x magnification in a rugged 102 mm long, 246 g aluminum chassis optimized for AR-15 platforms, hunters, and airsoft tacticians needing lightning-fast target acquisition from 0-200 yards with etched Dual Ring Tactical (DRT) MOA reticle featuring 1 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle—visible black without battery, illuminated red or green across 12 levels for dawn/dusk dominance.
Parallax-free at 94 mm eye relief with 23 m FOV at 100 m, it packs 120 MOA elevation/windage travel in 1 MOA clicks via exposed turrets, fully multi-coated lenses boosting light transmission >90%, and AAA battery life up to 3,000 hours low (250 high). Nitrogen-purged, IPX7 waterproof, shockproof construction survives drops, rain, and recoil up to .300 Win Mag, with multi-height Picatinny mount included.
Battlefield advantages include rear-facing illumination controls glove-friendly from shooting position, diopter adjustment for sharp focus even with astigmatism, and BDC-matched 5.56 turret cap for instant holds to 700 yards—perfect for 3-gun transitions or dynamic airsoft without rangefinder. Anti-reflective coatings cut glare in bright sun, while compact prism design outperforms bulkier dots in tight spaces. Frequently Asked Questions
- How does etched DRT reticle excel without illumination? Glass-etched design maintains crisp 1 MOA dot + 65 MOA circle for backup aiming if battery fails, ideal for astigmatism users avoiding red dot bloom during extended hunts or airsoft nights.
- Rear controls accessible during dynamic fire? Yes, power/brightness dials face shooter for thumb adjustment without breaking position, with 12 levels auto-matching ambient light from NVG green to midday sun across AR drills.
- Survives heavy AR recoil to .300 Win Mag? Aircraft aluminum housing and prism shockproofing hold zero through sustained 5.56/.308 mag dumps, proven on competition guns without turret slip or prism shift.
- Pairs with magnifiers for hybrid use? Seamless flip-to-side 3x/6x compatibility via Picatinny mount, extending DRT holds to 700 yards with BDC cap while preserving 1x CQB speed for 3-gun stages.
